In the province of Duarte, in the North of the Dominican Republic, there is the Zorzal Reserve. On this land, also known as a bird sanctuary, the conservation and recovery of the ecosystem are its first commitment. This environmental wealth nourishes the quality of your cocoa.
Zorzal cocoa is also cultivated by 25 farmers neighboring this reserve, who share the same vision in quality and environmental conservation.
The taste of this chocolate begins with the freshness of red fruits, then fills your mouth with its velvety nutty texture. At the end, it leaves notes of wood and dried flowers.
82% is the percentage we defined for this cocoa, in order to highlight its “nutty” character with subtle nuances, which we fell in love with.
